This ring was made using by hand, by one of our in house goldsmiths using traditional techniques.
You can see in the clip the top half of the ring was formed in wax. This wax form shown at the start of the clip was used to make a cast for molten metal to be poured into to form the top half of the ring.
Once the top half was constructed the goldsmith shaped by hand the bottom half of the ring, soldering both parts together.
The goldsmith then filed and polished the ring by hand to the correct shape and finish. The piece was finished by the goldsmith mounting a diamond onto the head of the ring along with an engraving of initials.
